Garlic Japanese Red - Planting

Garlic Japanese Red

Allium sativum

Planted 03/04/2014
Germinated 11/04/2014

An early to mid hard neck type that adapts well to hot inland climates that have some frost. Certain years it will produce many bulbils from flowering scapes enabling quick multiplication. Large easy to peel pink to tan blocky cloves, with white to purple (not red like the name) outer skins. Originates from the original AGIA imports. Rated 8.
